"Kerridwen" Named after the Celtic goddess Kerridwen – the Keeper of the Cauldon who is often associated with Autumn. I took inspiration for these piece from the autumn leaved on wet roads. An elegant ensemble with real impact. The corset and skirt are heavily embellished with a combination of gold and copper leaf, which took many hours of careful hand application. The corset is made in a grey silk dupion, strengthened with coutil, and lined in cotton for comfort. This corset is fully boned in with spiral steels across all seams and flat seals at the back to support the laces, and gold eyelets at the back. The skirt is made in a sheer polyester chiffon with a small puddle train. The skirt has a zip and hook and eye closure to the back, and a narrow grey silk dupion elasticated waistband. This ensemble also includes a pair of tap pants in a burnt orange poly satin, which have been French seamed throughout and feature covered buttons and rouleau loop closure to the side. The corsets laced closed measurements are: Bust: 36 inches Waist: 23 inches Hips: 35 inches Center front length: 15 inches Skirts measurements are: Waist: 25.5-28 inches Front drop (waist to hem) 41 inches Train length (from waist band to hem) 47 inches Knicker measurements are: Waist: 28 inches This ensemble has been used on two photo shoots, the skirt has a few small marks as pictured and as such the price is adjusted to reflect the ensembles condition.
